I was born in Atlanta Georgia and came from a broken home. At 20 years old I escaped Georgia and moved to Las Vegas, NV. As is, unfortunately not that uncommon, I soon found myself in a life of so called “adult entertainment”, as a “call girl”. I soon found myself trying to fill the void I felt in my heart with money, possessions and drugs.
During that time I became involved with a man who was a gang member, by whom I became pregnant, just before he ended up going to prison. So I eventually found myself pregnant, with no father for my child, and living all alone in a low rent trailer. I went from a life of glamor and money to having nothing and being alone.
As this point I began ponder where I was and how to get out, so I called a friend I had met, who had also been a “call girl” with me. I found out she had given her life to God and was involved in a church in the area. She invited me to come with her to the International Church of Las Vegas.
That night my life changed forever, as I gave my heart and life to Jesus and started my life of transformation. This was all so different for me, since I had been raise a Catholic. I began to learn what real freedom was and how to live a life as a Christian woman. Pastor Denice Goulet became a mentor and example for my life.
One February 3rd, 2001 my beautiful son Devin was born, and he is truly a gift from God. He has already had encounters with the Holy Spirit in his life and manifests the power of God, but he was still a fatherless child.
By the time he was three years old, God did another wonderful thing in his life. God brought together a man and a boy who were looking for each other. God brought my son the gift of a father when He gave me the gift of my husband. We are now a family who loves God and serves Him together in ministry, by His grace. We now have 2 beautiful little girls, Zofia 2 years old and Samantha almost 1.
I still feel like I am being trained by the Spirit and am continually seeking His presence in my life. I know God has a plan for my life and His purpose is being unfolded before my eyes. My desire is to help bring about the revelation of God’s eternal purpose to women all over the world.
I shared a little bit about my past, but I know it is not my past that is important, but my future. If God can change someone like me and where I came from, He can change you too.
